About the Space

The Afro-American Cultural Center is a vibrant four story space located at 211 Park Street that many students consider more of a home than a center. Whether you’re stopping by to study, cook with friends, host a club meeting or event or just take a power nap between classes, The House offers a welcoming environment to do so. 

The space includes:

  • the E-Room,

  • the Founders’ Room,

  • the Art Gallery,

  • the Purple Room,

  • the Mural Room,

  • the Podcast Room,

  • the Lighten Room,

  • the Kitchen,

  • and the Library

Academic Hours

Monday through Thursday from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. 

Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Saturday from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Sunday from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
