Delta Sigma Theta Sorority [ DST ]

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two illustrious young women at Howard University. Delta's founders sought to establish an organization dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship and public service. The Pi Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on March 24, 1984 at Yale University and Southern Connecticut State University. Pi Alpha has since branched out to include University of New Haven, Albertus Magnus College, and Wesleyan University. The Pi Alpha Chapter has dedicated itself to serving the needs of the New Haven community for 20 years.
